In 2019 Our laboratory moved from IISER Mohali to The Centre for Neuroscience (CNS) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.

We are interested in understanding the molecules and signals underlying normal brain function. Many of the molecules and mechanisms required for the functioning of the nervous system are conserved across phyla Our laboratory uses the free-living nematode, Caenorhabditis elegans as a model organism to understand the molecular and cellular basis of normal neuronal and symaptic function.

Our lab is currently staffed by a principal investigator, nine doctoral students, a postdoc and a lab technician.
